Kickstart your Career in Film and TV with the Open Door Initiative

Join Rondo Media and Boom Cymru for an 8-month paid placement in the Welsh TV industry to gain on-the-job experience, in a production role and further skills training to work in TV.

No previous experience working in TV is required and applicants don’t need to have studied Film or TV to apply.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for applications from those under-represented in the screen sector. This includes applicants from a diverse socio-economic or lower-income background.

What’s on offer?

We aim to equip 6 successful trainees with the knowledge, experience and connections to launch their TV careers.

Roles are available in Cardiff, Caernarfon and Anglesey.

Placements taking place from July 2024 – February 2025.

Terms and conditions

Applicants must be over 18 and the ability to communicate in Welsh is essential for many of the roles.
