Black Magic: Next-level Green Screen Production

Overview

From gamers on twitch to high-end drama on Netflix, green screen filming has become a mainstay of media production, whatever your budget. In these sessions, we’ll be demonstrating a range of solutions and products for improving your green screen workflow and taking the quality of your output to the next level.

This session will be ideal for vloggers and esports producers wanting to upgrade their productions, and for studios looking to finesse their systems.

Black Magic Design

Offer a range of cameras, mixers, effects machines and converters from high value for money to high spec. Showing the Broadcast and Studio camera, and Ultimatte 4K Keyer.

Tokina and Formatt 

Formatt filters are a Welsh company in Aberdare making a huge range of filters and distribute Tokina lenses. Range comes in EF and E for photo/video and they are bringing EF, PL, E mount in their cinema spec lenses

Cirro Lite

Distributors of very high spec lighting, from portable through to full studio. They offer a studio lighting design service to maximise the lighting available on set and are specialists in lighting of keying facilities and particularly VR sets.

 

The demonstrations will take place in the BBC’s Betty Campbell Studio in Central Square, which is used for green screen filming of BBC Sport programmes like Sin Bin and Scrum V.
