fivefold studios, headquartered at Dragon Studios in Wales, is proud to announce the launch of its world-leading virtual production facility. Positioned as a creative hub where innovation and cutting-edge technology meet, fivefold studios are set to bolster the film and television production landscape in the region and beyond. 

Launched in part to elevate Wales’ national film and TV infrastructure, fivefold studios will play a pivotal role in bringing virtual production to the heart of the Welsh creative sector. The studio offers comprehensive production services, utilizing advanced In-Camera Visual Effects techniques alongside performance and motion capture solutions.  

Studios

With studio space and offices that span over 12,000 sqft, fivefold studios provides ample room for productions of all sizes—from intimate indie projects to large-scale blockbusters.

The facility’s state-of-the-art LED volume allows for real-time capture of visual effects, empowering filmmakers with the tools they need to push creative boundaries and streamline production processes.

Additionally, the studio boasts Europe’s largest fixed green screen cove, spanning 5000 sqft and measuring an impressive 33 ft in height. This provides even greater flexibility for virtual environments and post-production needs.  

Training

In addition to the virtual production studio space, fivefold is preparing to launch a training arm which will form part of fivefold’s commitment to equipping the next generation of production specialists with the skills to sustain Wales’ emerging status as a global production hub.
