Exceptional Minds  

Exploring and developing better ways of accommodating neurodiversity in the media sector.

What is Exceptional Minds?

Exceptional Minds is a unique project aimed at researching the specific barriers neurodivergent individuals face within the media sector and developing better practices to accommodate their different needs. 

Unquiet Media is addressing existing stigmas and misconceptions around hidden differences, advising and assisting in creating more accessible work environments, and amplifying neurodiverse voices within industry. 

The Exceptional Minds Suite for the Creative Industries

In 2025, Unquiet Media launched the Exceptional Minds suite for the creative industries in Wales to help businesses and employers better recruit and support neurodivergent talent. The resources include guidelines, toolkits and videos to help make our industry more inclusive, accessible, and safer for all.
