In the first Inquiry report from Cardiff Council’s Economy and Culture Scrutiny Committee, the following recommendations were put forward: more effective use of planning functions to support creative sector development and grow its economic and social impact; Need for better, more linked-up transport infrastructure across the region to unlock 24-hour growth and activation.

 

Report on Broadcasting Regulation in Wales

Date: 9 March 2023

A 3-part report was developed and presented to the Expert Panel on the Devolution of Broadcasting established by the Welsh Government providing 2 recommendations.

 

Of and For Wales – Towards a Sustainable Future for Public Interest Journalism

Date: 21 July 2023

As defined in this report, the Welsh Government should declare public interest journalism as a public service and establish a Wales Media Institute.
