XR/Metaverse collaboration workshop

We are launching Media Cymru’s Development Fund next month and a few months later a Scale-Up Fund to support research and development (R&D) in the Cardiff Capital Region (CCR) media sector. The Media Cymru Innovation Spaces team hope to help and inspire companies in the region to build the collaborations and ideas they need to pitch for this funding. 

Join us for inspiration from projects that: 

• merge XR technologies and media production to streamline production workflows 
• leverage Intellectual Property (IP) 
• deepen audience engagement 
• offer new revenue generation opportunities.  

This is a chance to get to know both creative and technology companies and start to build a vision for the new products, services and experiences you could build together. 

Speakers include Yassmine Najime (VFX/Visual Development Producer, Painting Practice) and Will Humphrey (Director, Sugar Creative Studio).  

The workshop will last two hours, with registration open from 5.45pm. Food and refreshments will be available.
